Je viens de tester la version 9.04 fr de Ubuntu
Très intéressant, mais je trouve que Linux est encore un peu complexe par rapport à Windows... Trop d'obligation d'utilisation de lignes de commande...
Par contre, pour la dépannage, un point ultra positif :
On a accès à tous les dossiers de Windows... adieu Login de session et autres mots de passe...

Je me suis peut-être mal expliqué TheGnou...
Pour installer quoi que ce soit (ou presque) sous Linux, il faut ouvrir une console...
Sous Windows, 2 clics sur un EXE et c'est bon...
En plus pour trouver un lien pour télécharger un plugin, c'est la galère...
Dans mon cas, internet ne fonctionne pas avec mon live CD (Modem 56k). Il me faut donc trouver les liens et télécharger sous Windows...

j'ai mis ubuntu sur le pc du gamin, j'ai eu recours à la ligne de commande seulement pour mettre et parametrer un filtre parental, sinon, c'est comme windows, en mieux, il arrive pas à y foutre le bordel.

sous ubuntu, tu as synaptic pour installer les deb sans passer la ligne de commande.
pour le matériel,cela fait quand même longtemps qui n'y a plus de problème.d'ailleurs pour le materiel ancien ,linux est bien meilleur que windows
